I wonder, how people waited so long to get the revert in Postal Mailing Era...
I can't freaking wait for a moment once the tick turns blue...
With technology blessing us with quick connectivity, we kinda lost our patience, didn't we?
If we call someone and they don't answer, we keep buzzing every five minutes...
Three missed calls and we would be worried like hell and most of the times for no reason...
Then came Internet, another divine invention, that made the world dance on our finger tips.. and we lost the very patience we were left with..
Slow network makes us throw the phone away...
Coz we just can't wait, it gave rise to 2G then 3G now 4G and God knows how many G's more to go...
But I wonder how people waited to meet someone in person and share their thoughts.. unlike today when everything is shared on text and calls...
People fall in love on phone...they get to know the other person over calls and text and of course their FB posts, insta updates, tweets...retweets...
And then one fine day, they break up over text saying "we don't really connect"
Isn't that terrible,
We lost Touch while "being in touch..."
We are friends on "Facebook" with people we might not recognise "face to face..."
What's app status is like all the update we have for few...
Its like, in this virtual era we lost the person in real...
Technology indeed is a blessing...that made the connectivity easy...but the connections pretty rare...
No matter how far you be...meet your loved ones at least once a month...
Don't just plan the trips with your buddies...go for it...not to "check in" some resort or posting selfies but to live the moment before its gone...
Rather than leaving a fancy FB wall and geniusly photoshoped insta pics...leave the memories behind...the memories made in person and not in mere text conversations...
Get on your knees to propose...hold her in arms instead of holding a stupid phone...visit the places of your interest...revisit the places where you got old...explore the world with open eyes and not the digicam...cherish each moment you spent together...coz that's how you would CONNECT....without 3G and 4G networks...
PS: and for God sake...never fight over texts or break up over calls...Get in person...sort it out and leave with dignity without being coward...
