I came across a post on fb that spoke about "Normalizing being Nice- Complimenting people for something they are good at.. and it will make their day."
Isn't it a wonderful thing...?
Everyone around us, is giving his/her best to serve their families and their people.. But let's ask ourselves, "Are they appreciated enough??"
When someone tries something new, how often do we support their guts, instead of criticizing their stand?
When someone wins something, how often do we congratulate them with our full heart, instead of calling it "a luck by chance"??
When someone gets successful, how often do we feel proud, instead of feeling jealous???
We use words like "got lucky" and take away their whole credit..
We call them "fortunate" and overlook all the hardwork they carried on..
We address them as "the destiny's favorite child" and totally ignore all the efforts, they continued when 100s of their earlier attempts failed..
If someone is good at something, it's not genetic but an effect of practice, persistence and patience...
Nothing comes easy... No wonder happens overnight... There is no such thing as magic...
So, we must appreciate those, who have achieved something.
We must support those, who are trying new things.
We must thank those, who get us things beyond their scope of action.
Coz, when things are cherished, they flourish...
